Is CineSense free?
Yes. The app is free to download and use. A small number of ads appear between content for free users.
Do I need an account to use it?
No. You can start swiping immediately as a guest. After your first 20 swipes we ask you to sign in to save your taste profile and unlock unlimited discovery.
Is it available on iOS and Android?
CineSense is live on Android today. iOS is coming soon.
How does the Affinity score work?
We compare your loved and watched movies against each friend's, weighted by how rare each film is in the wider community. Your Affinity score reflects the signal in your overlap, not just the count.
Can my friends see everything I swipe on?
Friends only see the movies you've loved, watched, or added to your watchlist, the basis for your Affinity score. Movies you skipped stay private.
What if a movie is missing or has wrong info?
Movie metadata comes from TMDB. If something's missing or incorrect, it's usually already fixed in TMDB's catalog by the next sync. You can also report it in the app's feedback section and we'll look into it.
