Delete your account

This page explains how to request deletion of your CineSense account and the data associated with it. It applies whether you signed up with Apple, Google, or email and password.

How to request deletion

Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We may ask you to confirm your identity before proceeding so that we only delete data at the request of the account holder.

What gets deleted

• Your account and login credentials.
• Your profile and username.
• Your movie reactions (loved, watched, watchlist, pass) and taste statistics.
• Your friend connections.
• Feedback and support messages linked to your account.

What may be retained

We may retain a limited amount of information where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer be linked to you may be kept for analytics.

Timeframe

We delete your profile and reactions within 30 days of confirming your request, except where longer retention is required by law.
